PREVENT-PRI
Pragmatic and automated pressure injury detection across a heterogeneous patient population
Pressure injuries are a significant source of patient harm and healthcare costs, yet detecting them reliably across diverse patient populations remains a challenge. This project develops pragmatic, automated methods for pressure injury detection that work across heterogeneous clinical settings and patient demographics.
This is an ongoing collaboration with Sharon Sonenblum, Vicki Stover Hertzberg, Monique Bouvier, and Judy Gichoya. The project is supported by the National Institutes of Health, National Institute of Biomedical Imaging and Bioengineering under award number 1R01EB036579.
