Detecting adverse outcomes from atrial fibrillation ablation

Atrial fibrillation patients are costly to the health system and often have significant health consequences. Many patients seek out atrial fibrillation ablation to improve quality of life yet this procedure has modest success rates. This project looks to provide a better understanding of patient factors to inform patient selection for this procedure.

This is an ongoing collaboration with Vicki Hertzberg and Kathryn Wood. The project is supported by the National Institute of Health (NIH) under award number 1R21HL156184.
